Correct. It should work on any Eclipse platform.

I am sure it is just a matter of adding UI for this to the process, but
what is the scenario where this would be needed? Why wouldn't you just
create a branch/tag at that revision and check that out? Also, with the
current UI, you could checkout HEAD, and then use the Switch option to
change to a specific revision.

At some point it will likely become a 3rd choice for the client adapter in
the preferences. You can use it today using the instruction they provide
for replacing JavaHL.
