Not exactly seamless, but not too painful either. Since it is a new
feature ID, you cannot just do the check for updates option. Instead, you
have to do the Find New features to install option, select our site from
the list, and it will then show up to install the new feature. After that,
you are back to normal.

There is no way around that problem, because the whole point is to avoid a
feature id that is OS-specific like the previous ones. Also, it is just a
one-time issue, so better to deal with it now than later.

PS - It sounds like you should wait for that help patch to get committed
before building.
