I do not think extssh ever accepted my credentials. pserver did, and
worked with WinCVS.

Good idea! I will try that. I think that even WinCVS had problems listing
the modules. But it's UI lets you checkout something just by providing all
of the info. Maybe I can get the same behavior using a psf file.
