I wouldn't say it is final, but it is beyond the draft stage in as much as
Tortoise has implemented it as documented. But for example, just yesterday
it was proposed and accepted to allow for multiple bug ID's to be
specified, comma-delimited. I do not know if he has updated the doc to
include that.

To give you some backstory, I had been thinking about these issues and had
planned on implementing them in Subclipse and Tortoise and then offering
them back for consideration. Before I got a chance, the Tortoise
developers started working on it themselves. I then wrote up my ideas for
how I planned to do it, and also emphasizing that I thought it be designed
and written in a way that all GUI clients could do it the same way. The
document you read, was largely in response to my document, which is why it
discusses things they did not implement.

I think they are very open to the idea that this ought to be a documented
"standard" that all GUI clients can follow. So if you have ideas about the
implementation, or if any of the ideas put forth would be difficult to do
in Subclipse/JavaHL it would be good to get those out there. At the same
time, I think there was a feeling that the best thing that we could
probably do is not overly bog this down in debate and instead try to get a
working implementation in Tortoise that others could follow.

I am currently working on porting Subversion to OS/400 so I do not have any
time in the immediate future to work on this, but eventually I do want to
start contributing effort to both Subclipse and Tortoise. So if you have
other priorities, hopefully this is something I can work on someday. If,
however, this is something you have some time for, I think it would be
really great to see two of the Subversion GUI clients implement an idea
like this consistently and in the same general timeframe. It would also be
good for the spec in general to see it handled in the two different
environments.

Thanks

Mark
