nope, the osx lib has the same issue.

from what i gather, svn must be built with --enable-all-static to build javahl
statically. that much i've done, plus innumerable builds of javahl with
different combinations of LDFLAGS CPPFLAGS and configure args, all of which
wound up with some external dependency or another.

the guys on #svn didn't seem to know how to do this either...
