svnversion breaks after copying checked out repo

Error: svn: E200030: sqlite: callback requested query abort

Steps to reproduce bug: 1: checkout svn repo. 2: copy the checked out
repo. 3: run
"svnversion" in the copy

versions:

sqlite - 4.7.0
subversion - 1.7.4
