I am not the one that ran these tests. 1.7 shows some improvement but
it is not back to the 1.5.x level.

No one has submitted results from 1.5 or earlier on any other OS. We
would need someone to run the tests using 1.5 and 1.6 to see if it
shows up. You can edit the svn.properties file to only run the
Binaries tests as that is there this problem shows.
