The development for 1.7.x is nearing completion. If the translators
could get caught up to *today*, then there shouldn't be much more work
to finalize the translations at branch time.

I don't know if there is a translators mailing list (any more?), but a
call for updating translations would be good. Or maybe just an
explicit call on dev@, or a direct email to all our translators in
COMMITTERS. But a call would be a Good Thing.
