Looking at the list, one simple solution could be to just order from Z
to A but keep it alphabetical. That winds up with an order like this:

Windows
Ubuntu Linux
SUSE Linux
Solaris
Red Hat Linux
Mac OS X
OpenBSD
NetBSD
HP-UX
FreeBSD
Fedora Linux
Debian Linux
AIX
