Today I tried with ubuntu-9.10 and did not observe any crash in the logs and in
the command line where I started eclipse from.

These are the softwares used:

1) JavaHL - svn 1.6.x branch (r889229) with patch applied from 1.6.x-r39692
branch (Changed just the version number in svn_versions.h to make it work with
subclipse)
2) Eclipse - 3.5
3) Subclipse from http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.6.x

My config parameters if it matters,

<snip>
../configure --prefix=/home/stylesen/subversion-dev/builds/1.6.x
--enable-maintainer-mode --with-ssl --disable-mod-activation
--with-junit=/usr/share/java/junit-3.8.2.jar
--with-jdk=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk --enable-javahl --with-gnome-keyring
</snip>

My ~/.subversion/config said,

<snip>
[auth]
### Set password stores used by Subversion. They should be
### delimited by spaces or commas. The order of values determines
### the order in which password stores are used.
### Valid password stores:
### gnome-keyring (Unix-like systems)
### kwallet (Unix-like systems)
### keychain (Mac OS X)
### windows-cryptoapi (Windows)
password-stores = gnome-keyring
###
</snip>

The following screenshots explain my actions,

I couldn't reproduce the crashes which you are seeing :(

Thank You.
