The first step is to find out if the problem is reproducible using
trunk, and if not which revision fixed the problem. That revision, or
set of revisions, can then be proposed for backport to 1.5.x.

If the problem still exists in trunk, providing a patch which fixes it
would certainly increase the probability that the bug is fixed in
1.5.x. When doing so, please follow our standard patch guidelines,
found here: http://subversion.tigris.org/hacking.html#patches
