FWIW, having looked at those changes, I agree with Greg. So now you have
two vetos on your hands.

As I said earlier, I doubt very much that Python-3.0 will become a
reasonable baseline anytime soon. There are too many IMNSHO gratuitous
incompatibilities with the 2.x series.
