Sorry, my mistake, I'd gone back to 1.5 to try and see what was
changing. With 2.2.6 the diff is much smaller: 23 new lines inserted.
I still don't know which of those lines matter. Does it matter that
LTCFLAGS changes? What about sys_lib_search_path_spec, or postdeps?
