Is my memory correct in that fixes to the bindings can happen during the
soak period? I have some pending changes to the Perl bindings that it
would be good to finish and get into 1.6; the API supported by the Perl
bindings is getting quite stale. I just need to know whether I should
struggle to get them done in the next week, or if I have a little more
time than that...
