+1. "safe", "anorexic", "autobahn", and, finally, a "reckless
abandon" option. =)

Seriously, I fear that exposing too many knobs will work to our
detriment - we should pick defaults and try to auto-tune - one
external knob to control them all seems better. For tuning the rest,
use the source, Luke... -- justin
