Issues in the tracker - something for everyone!

Dear friends and committers,

    Wondering what to give Subversion for Christmas?

Why not choose one of the ...

Issues marked[1] with a target milestone of 1.5 or 1.6:
<http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/buglist.cgi?issue_status=NEW&issue_status=STARTED&issue_status=REOPENED&target_milestone=1.5.x&target_milestone=1.6>

Issues marked[1] as priority P1 or P2:
<http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/buglist.cgi?issue_status=NEW&issue_status=STARTED&issue_status=REOPENED&priority=P1&priority=P2>

Pick an easy one, a stocking-filler! It overwhelms me to look at the
total list of open issues, but I think if many of us can each get one
issue out of the way fairly quickly we will make a really useful and
visible reduction. And, often, a "little" issue causes a
disproportionately large nuisance.

It would be fantastic if you can create a test for your chosen issue, or
decide that its milestone or priority should be changed, or discover
that it is a duplicate or already fixed, or help in any other way to
resolve it.

If you're not sure, ask on IRC or email the "dev" list with "Issue #NNNN
- summary of the issue" as the subject.

Merry Christmas!
- Julian

[1] Many of the markers such as "milestone" and "priority" are out of
date and should be changed. They are just a rough indication. Another
such marker you could look at is the "bite-sized" keyword:
<http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/buglist.cgi?issue_status=NEW&issue_status=STARTED&issue_status=REOPENED&keywords=bite-sized&keywords_type=anytokens>.
Or make your own query at
<http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/query.cgi>.
