eliminating mail duplicates fails recently

Hi mailer gurus,

I use some tool to eliminate message duplicates received from this list and
reply-all-ers. As usual, this checks for these headers to be the same:

From:
Date:
Message-ID:
Subject:

Since recently, tigris.org changes the From: header to add quotes around the
sender's real name. E.g.

  From: Foo Barrington <foo_at_bar.com>

becomes

  From: "Foo Barrington" <foo_at_bar.com>

and eliminating duplicates fails all of a sudden.

While I accept the point that the duplicates parsing works fine when using
the remaining three headers (except From:), IMHO it's really not necessary
to have the quotes there in the first place...

Thanks for taking notice ;)
~Neels
