Well, then we'll just have to figure out why. MarkPhip also pointed
out some proxy issues.

All this stuff can work. Simple matter of programming. And we know
that svn/neon can work via perlbal, so whatever is happening on the
wire can be done on the serf wire. Just need to run the trace and
watch to see what works and what fails.

This kind of stuff is easy, imo. It is the random buglet here and
there which is non-deterministic.
