I'm sorry I never had the chance to clean up and finish my patch
to run the Python binding tests over all the ra layers, but
someone better do that before this switch is made. As far as I
know, they still don't pass over serf. gvn's test suite already
runs easily over serf, and it highlights even more problems (and
passes over ra-local/svn/neon).
