Yes, but people, not just you, on the dev list sign the name and then leave the
rest of the quoted text below it. It's an unnecessary waste of space.

Some people don't sign their name and then you have to scroll down through many
pages of diffs just to see if anything else has been written.

It's starting to bug me more, probably because gmail will collapse quoted text
by default so authors don't see it, but if you're in Thunderbird or Apple Mail,
then you still see it.
