Clearly I am adopting a lot of what SVK offers, but adding a great deal
of new functionality to it. SVK allows you to start mirroring from a
given rev, but once you start, you are destined to continue building up
that mirror (no going back and purging old revs). SVK allows you to
have private branches for offline operations, but if you try and commit
directly to the mirrored path, it will only work if you can connect to
the remote server _at_ _that_ _time_.

What I'm proposing makes disconnected operations a built-in feature of
the base code structure, rather than the whole reason for being...
