There are now many more ideas there, please take a look.

The "improved bindings" task was not intended for Summer of Code,
however. I think that task may be obsolete now, too, as there have been
many improvements to the bindings for the upcoming 1.5.0 release.

Can we interest you in one of the other issues? :-)
