Good question, as it is related to the policy of not posting
installable binaries for anything other than blessed releases, on the
theory that only people willing to go to the effort of pulling down and
building from source should be testing pre-release code.

If you want wider user testing of 1.5.x, I would be happy to
periodically upload binaries (once or twice a week, say) to debian's
'experimental' repository. It is an official site and widely mirrored,
but everyone who uses 'experimental' is supposed to understand that
what lives there is not expected to be release-quality.

This goes against your current policy, so I won't do it unless I get
some convincing +1s from you guys.
