changing the commit date...

Hi,

in our company we are on the way to change from SCCS to subversion.
For many reason we can not use the given sccs2svn.py so we have
written an own one.

Now: For each entry in a transfered file history (log message) I want
to set the
        correct date. Actually all entries are having the date of the
transfer.

I have recognized that it is possible to change the date afterwards
but
I don't know exactly how. Could someone give an example, please?
