r28808 merged the test updates to trunk, so we should now be able to
reliably test 'log -g' behavior. Currently, log tests 16 and 18 are
failing (and marked XFail). The only work that remains is to fix the
cause of the failures.

I'm currently working on tracking down the cause of failures in log test
16. If you (or anybody else) would like to look at log test 18, I'd
appreciate it.
