ambient depth in the depth editor

You know the whole ambient_depth stuff that was just added to the update editor?

I think we need it for *all* of our client-side wc-related editors.

At the very least, for the WC diff editor; depth_tests 19 is failing
right now because of this. I wonder if we can abstract the
ambient_depth stuff from update_editor.c into an editor wrapper? I'll
take a look at this later this week if I get a chance and nobody beats
me to it.

(What other editors are there in the wc? switch should be the same as
update. Status editor too, I guess?)
