Some months ago I did some quicky testing of Subversion + BDB 4.5 (see
http://svn.haxx.se/dev/archive-2006-11/0104.shtml). But I only ran the C
test suite. It seems like you're seeing problems in other tests, possibly
ones which open up multiple connections to the DB at the same time (very
unlike the C tests).

Have you tried the same testing with BDB 4.4?
