Actually, I lie. (I suspect I should be a little less liberal with
the 'Send' button.) Deletes only work when you're iterating over the
target dirents, which makes sense (although I still don't get why adds
would work the other way).

Anyway, while there's still the issue involving proper treatment of
nested copies, I'll commit this version.
