Our website demonstrates perfectly the amount of thought and energy
we've put into user-friendly, classy web design. (Yep, "pretty much
none.") I would provide two patches:

   * One that jives with the existing layout.
   * One that is "more interesting", but that also "upgrades" the
     existing entries to be of similar interestingness.

Basically, ugly layout or not, don't ask us to be both ugly *and*
inconsistent.

Those with the power to type 'svn commit' and "make it happen".

None. Though, realistically, you'll almost certainly know something
within a business week's time.
