RE: SPAM-LOW: Re: Win32 Installer

The licenses all link from my start menu, are there system-independent
problems there? If the consensus is to link to the licenses folder that
will be fine. I didn't use the trunk, I used everything from the tag. None
of my perl code changes have made it to a tag even though they were done a
couple of releases ago, so at this stage I will need to use a mix of trunk
code, tag code and local machine code... I will release another test
installer shortly.

Did following tests on the installer:
Check exe with AVG virus scanner: OK
Compared installed binaries with the zip package: OK Checked if all files
are installed: OK Tried some basic svn actions: OK Check the contents of the
start menu: OK Checked the licenses from the Start menu: NOT OK
Uninstall: OK

Did you use the installer script from trunk? In the Start menu it has
created a subfolder Licenses, but the files in there don't link with the
actual files on disk. The script in svn trunk just put a link to the
licenses folder in the Start menu, which is much easier.

Small detail: the copyright date of the license is still 2004, this has been
fixed on trunk too.
