DeltaV and subversion ?

Hi,
I recently wanted to talk to subversion with my DeltaV client. I have an
Apache with Subversion (1.3.2) running.
But very soon I realized that it's not so easy. There are many restrictions.
E.g. it looks like I can CHECKOUT only a versioned resource. When I do
that I was told that I need an activity.
So it seems it that I will need a lot of SVN specific stuff to talk to
subversion. The documtenation I found concerning DeltaV and SVN also
looks rather old.
So my questions are:
- Any current detailed documentation on SVN and it's usage of DeltaV ?
- Some scenarios what happens (Request bodies) ? Because when I have a
look at
apache access.log after I do something eg. with TortoiseSVN I only see
the method line.
- Does it make sense at all to talk to subversion using DeltaV ?

Cheers, Edgar

P.S. Quick feedback would be appreciated because I'm still on holidays
this week and could
spare some time to check whether the project is feasible.
