Are there not some people out there directly using Subversion tools against
repositories, with file:// URLs?
I think a better word to add to the help text would be "FSFS", since most
people won't be able to automatically link "svndiff1" with the FSFS
repository format. In fact, I personally wouldn't mention svndiff1 at all.
I'd use something like:
Prevents Subversion from using the new FSFS repository file format added in
Subversion 1.4, which is incompatible with earlier versions of Subversion.
Just my take on it :-)
