My initial reaction is that this is merely a restatement of inetd
fundamentals specifically parametrized for svnserve, and as such, is
material better suited for a newbie-howto than a man page.

I'm not dead set against this if you really really think it is a good
idea, but it's not really the sort of thing I'd expect to see in a man page.
