Sorry, but in my opinion "port it to Windows" is not a real answer, it's a
put-down. Yes, Windows and Unix have many differences, but then again
Windows service has also become part of Subversion. I agree that putting
something in, that can be done by other standard tools is a waste of
resources, but I wanted to point out, that not all tools are that
standard.

On the other hand, this was offered as part of implementation, and so far
I don't see a reason, why it couldn't be included in the Windows build
only. Surely some fiddling with conditional compile/build-scripting could
offer that.
