I feel a key point about why these should be removed is that they all
concern GUIs. I think I am correct in saying that there is an unspoken
consensus that any GUI would be a separate project, rather than an
integral part of the Subversion project. Therefore there is little point
in retaining examples of potential GUI design within the Subversion
repository itself.
