I'd recommend that the first thing to be done is a review of what is
there, fixing up things that are actually incorrect, before too much
effort is expended on writing new material.

I do think that very little should be removed: rather most of of the
corrections will be:

* clarifying that certain things are specific to BDB repositories.

* fixing up references to future possibilities that have actually now
been implemented.

* marking things that never got implemented as past ideas that might be
worth resurrecting at some point.
