As I have asked before, please reserve the term "takeover" for the
process (not yet implemented) of converting a non-working-copy directory
to a working copy directory without making any other changes.

With your patch, "svn checkout --force" converts a non-working-copy
directory to a working copy directory, and also creates missing files or
subdirectories. This is useful behaviour, and I think it's exactly the
right behaviour for something labeled "checkout --force", but it should
not be labeled "takeover".
