Heh, that was a terse description (in the bug):-)

I assume that the first URL in the command listed is *not* a prefix of
any URL in the working copy, so no relocations are actually done. I
guess this is an annoyance if you mistype the URL.

We can't just error out if we detect that the URL was mistyped,
because working copies might have mixed repository roots and
--relocate is supposed to be able to fix that. I think giving a
warning when no URLs were rewritten would be an improvement.

If you have time, would you mind annotating the issue with a link to
this thread, asking the reported if this is the correct interpretation
(and maybe asking him/her to be more specific next time:-)?

(We could close this per the guidelines on the front page etc., but
that would be silly. I agree this is a worthwhile improvement.)

Another thing: when bringing an issue up on the mailing list, it is
good to include (part of) the summary in the subject line (or at least
the start of the message body), so not everyone has to look up the
issue herself.
