No: it's a big change and both kfogel and I decided not to nominate it
for 1.3.0 (it's a 1.x.0 thing), because it's not a trivial change and
backporting it last minute may be a stability risk.

Considering all this and the importance of the fix, I'd want to
release 1.4 about 4 months after 1.3.
