You've got that exactly right; I'm sorry I didn't make it clear. I'm
trying to translate Molle's requested functionality (as a user) into the
existing Subversion codebase (from a development point of view) to show
that the functionality, as requested, would be a significant departure.

That being said, this whole discussion has given me some insights into
fixing the 'svn switch' keywords expansion problem. I don't expect I'll
have the time to do the actual coding, but I'm going to try and describe
what I am thinking about and add it to the issue for someone else to use.
