Well, actually 1.2.3 is just 1.2.1 with a few fixes. Nothing really
new about that: they're based on the same codebase.

Trunk is really new in that it built on the codebase of 1.2.0 and is
diverging from that. Occasionally fixes get backported from trunk to
1.2.x.
