Okay, nice. I tested and my problem ( with the specific issue ) is
gone.

Just a question on this topic.

I was under the impression that the latest stable version of
subversion, bindings & scripts is always under the 1.2.x branch.
This issue has learned me to also check the trunk for related
patches, whereas I thought the trunk was only used for new
features.

Is there a clear distinction or guideline for which type of
changes go to which branch ( specifically for the contrib folder )?

Great! I've merged r14782 to the 1.2.x branch. If this revision solves your
problem, then your problem will be solved in Subversion 1.2.4.
