Anyone able to write a BitKeeper replacement in four
weeks flat should be allowed to have an ego, don't you
think?

I obviously prefer SVN over CVS, but I find the
centralized model inferior in many respects. I've
tried utilizing svk to fix some of the problems, but
it's a mountain of hacks and doesn't integrate into
other clients.

Svk is a perl, but not quite a pearl.

While I realize that SVN has a main goal of replacing
CVS, adding svk-like features to the core would make
SVN a saner choice for large, distributed, semi-online
projects.

In short:

SVN + SVK + Web front end + Mucho hardware =
SourceForge Killer.

IMHO.
