Hi Karl...

I like the proposal very much. What I would like to see is a 2 way
mechanism for the
log message.

1. Server sends template to client and user fills the template
2. Server gets back the filled out template/full log and can
tweak/complete/reject it
    before it gets finally committed.

That means a log mesage template gets send to the client, the users
fills it and
server has the ability to alter it again it gets finally a part of the
revision and the
revision is commited to the repos.

At least reject is possible at present using pre-commit hook, but I
don't know
whether this mechanism can fulfill all these needs in respect of maybe
changing some
aspects of the filled out log message.

This I always missed with CVS. And I hope subversion can help here now.
