Thanks for the prod, David.

In the interests of not starting a precedent of committers (full and
partial) spending their time recording votes from the mailing lists, I
haven't added this vote to the STATUS file. But, I've just now ping'd
in IRC asking for one more committer to +1, which is all it needs now.

Takers? Anyone?

Note that no JavaHL expertise is required to evaluate r14024. All
that is needed is one more full committer to conclude that the change
does not hurt the core build system. I am confident that it does not,
that's why I added my +1.
