When will the client interface stablize?

Has anybody any idea when the svn_client interface of the trunk will
stabilize?
I have thought we want to start a 1.2 branch soon. But with all the last
minute changes, I have problems keeping the javahl binding compileable
and runable. I do not have the time to read all the commit messages in
detail or do a new update/compile/tes run every other hour.
