I still do fail to see how a minor issue like this could cause any trouble.

Especially when compared to the fact that with the next Subversion,
clients are going to have to adapt themselves to the fact that
repository items can be locked. *That*'s gotta hurt.

Anyway.

That IS a nice workaround, if you're using TortoiseSVN.
Definitely better than the whole ViewCVS thing.
