Here , here. Subversion is a tool that does what it is designed to do
and does so rather well. There are a number of tools that provide the
feature you want. Use them. Or, if they don't match what you want,
write the one you want or hire someone to write the one you want.

Hey, some revision control systems also control the build process.
I do *not* want Subversion to grow build/make/ant features. That is
what those tools are for. The same goes for the repository browsing.
