Well, it's part of the (every now and then upcoming) idea of using svn as a
backup-mechanism ... eg. for /etc, and similar things.

eg. take asvn, which exists at least since 2003.

Maybe you'd like to take over for Julian, who wanted to take a look at the
patches in november? In that case, thanks a lot in advance !-)
