SVNPath with Interpolate capabilities like VirtualDocumentRoot

Developers,
      I am setting up a website here at my company that will be running
SVN/Apache2. The thoughts we have been discussing are about using a
VirtualDocumentRoot pointing to the SVN repository and then setting the
SVNPath the same way. E.G.,

       VirtualDocumentRoot /foo/bar/%2
       <Location />
            Dav svn
            SVNPath /foo/bar/%2
       </Location>

     Is there any interest on the developers to have SVNPath do that
interpolation for each request that comes in? I know that the current
code does not support that, and I am trying to get a feeling from you
guys for any obvious caveats.
     BTW, whatever code that I end up writing to do this "interpolation"
can be posted back to SVN.

Cheers,
Patrick Sodre
